Dear students,

We would like to inform you about some new regulations regarding exam adaptations.  A new regulation called "Engelli Bireylere Yönelik Sınav Uygulamalarında ve Engelli Kontenjanında Aranacak Sağlık Şartlarına Dair Yönetmelik" published in the Official Gazette. According to this new regulation, students who need exam accommodations such as reader/marker/scriber support in exams, additional time, large print exam booklet, taking exams in a separate hall, should get an Adult Disability Health Board Report (Engelli Sağlık Kurulu Raporu; ESKR) from hospitals authorized by the Ministry of Health as of the Academic Year of 2022-2023. You can reach the list of authorized hospitals from the link below:

https://khgmcalisanhaklaridb.saglik.gov.tr/TR-42698/engelli-saglik-kurul...

We recommend students, who receive adaptations in the exams and do not have an ESKR, get their reports from authorized hospitals until the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year in order to avoid any disruption in their accommodation, otherwise accommodations will not be provided.

Students who benefit from accommodations regarding courses or part-time student support (course partner, note taker) or transportation services other than exam adaptations are not within the scope of the aforementioned new regulation. These students can continue to benefit from our unit services with up-to-date health reports as in previous periods.

Best wishes,
