The English Proficiency Exam (EPE) will be held on December 12, 2023. Students who need testing accommodations for the EPE must submit an official request* to the Disability Support Office (DSO).

Students should send a written application from their e-mail address with the extension of metu.edu.tr to engelsiz@metu.edu.tr by December 4, 5:00 p.m. METU students who are not registered in the DSO and candidates applying from outside METU must also submit a current medical report** stating their disability status.

*According to the "Engelli Bireylere Yönelik Sınav Uygulamalarında ve Engelli Kontenjanında Aranacak Sağlık Şartlarına Dair Yönetmelik" published in the Official Gazette dated 08.03.2022 and numbered 31772, students who need exam accommodations such as reader/scribe assistance, additional time, large print exam booklet, taking the exam in a separate room should submit the board report regarding their health condition obtained from hospitals authorized by the Ministry of Health to our office during the application.
